"Stories grow when writers mindset grows"

Telling a story with the right mindset is important especially if you want to deepen your skills as a writer & author. In my writing process I was discovering that my script was quite limited and started to be stagnant. Growth and adult themes was necessary to move forward and deepen the story.

As some of you might know, the story originally took place in a village called Miautown. While the name was charming, the story began to feel more like a children’s tale than an adult fantasy.

Let me explain, It felt more like it because the story was at the same place and did not extend to other places.

One of the changes that I did was to add other kind of folks like Humans, Dwarfs instead of only cats. I also added a new race called Furred Folk which includes cats and other furred animals.

Another major change was the title.
The story is now called The Chronicles of Eastrovia – Frane, which gives it a stronger epic fantasy tone and a more historic feeling.

This shift helped the story grow into something larger than I originally imagined.
And this is only the beginning of the world of Eastrovia.
