"Behind every icon is a story to be told"

I am really excited to show you these illustrated icons for my upcoming novel. This will be a blog series where I reveal the character icons one by one. They are simple but impactful and are easy on the eyes. This is made by the talented illustrating artist Artxenth. The art she makes are by using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to make it come to life. The process has been fruitful and collaborative.

One of the chapter icons that is shown up above represents the Darkborn. A faction which uses necromancy & blood magic to defeat their foes. From furred beasts and furred less folk on the battlefield.

More information about the history and such in later blog posts. Meanwhile I will continue to micro blog and other articles. I have also a book to do so that will be my main focus.

From my point of view Sauron from Lord of the Rings. It inspired me because it resembles the unspeakable evil that lurks deep through the darkness. In this case this is a force that grows with determent ambition & inferior superiority
